The Ultimate Queen Celebration
Balkan brass is definitely a remarkable documentary! I truly did appreciate it so much. Thanks a lot for sharing! Keep it up!
Serbians, proud of their nazzi and chetnik history. Sad to see you are still the same.
They pour water because it flows and finds its way. In Turkey they say leave and come back like the water. It's amazing to come across these things in other countries, it's kind of the nice Ottoman legacy.
Music is a better way to settle a dispute, music no war.
So who’s not allowed?
Prelepo zivela Srbija ????????
I'll visit this festival next year
Thanks for sharingvery impressive festival and hats off for the dedication of these musicians.Participating in such festival is an achievement
gypsy trumpet is what serbians love, and it has nothing to do with ballkan!!!
Thanks for this documentary, just about to travel there for the 7th year in a row! Documentary is so well done, gives justice to the atmosphere and mix of cultures there!
Seems so much joy. Thanks for the great documentary!
Excellent Hare Krishna
This would never be shown on ?? UK TV.. Germany most democratic country in Europe.. Some might say they change the roles since WW2
Can anyone identity any of the songs featured? For example 14:45?
Thanks for the documentary! Reports on Serbia worldwide tend to focus on less cheerful topics, but people here are proud and very hospitable. With a little respect shown, they will treat you like a family member. Unfortunately, we've been living through some hard times, but some say that hard times make good men/women. Highly recommend the next topic for Serbia to be archeological. Some of the oldest neolithic settlements and some of Europe's richest heritage lay in Serbia (Vinca, Lepenski Vir, Branicevo, Sirmium, Naisus), as well as medieval history. Another similar topic could be Bosnian Sevdah music. I wouldn't be overstating if I compare it to American blues. Balkans is a beautiful region with turbulent past, but nonetheless worth visiting and more.
Glad they enjoy it, sounds a bit off to my english ear.
I have to say, poor in the west can only dream of having such nice houses and neighborhoods as those poor Gipsy have in Serbia. You should make documentary also about rich Gipsy in Serbia.?
Heheh they are not black, they are Gipsy! Slavic people love Gipsy despite their less than honest habits. That is why they mostly live in Eastern Europe and not so much in West, where they are mostly despised.
I also have to give compliment to DW, they were not too biasly antiSerbian as most main stream, Western and Judo-Sauidi, media usually is. Thank you for that.
I am from Guca.. 😀
I am wondering why they look like south american people and why the have spanish names such as David, Maria and so on, if they are from servia?,,, someone could explain me ,please?
