Hello everyone and welcome to this new video presentation ! Today I will talk you about an handgun replica of GBB type, GBB for Gas BlowBack. It is a model sold by Cybergun and manufactured by KWC. And this is the sublime, the beautiful… not mince words : Colt M1911 A1 100th Anniversary. Why the hundredth? 1911… 2011… I’ll let you do the math yourself. This Colt works using 12g CO2 cartridge. Note that this replica was lent to me by the online store ShootGame.fr that I thank ! You will find in the descriptions the links to the shop and to the replica. But back to the product ! As often with repack GBB, Cybergun gives us this replica in a rather nice box. Box that we will open ! So we have the manual in French, and with lots of illustrations. A small package with a small amount of bbs inside. Below, we have the Allen key to use with the CO2 magazine. Finally, here is that nice replica. You’ll understand that I have a certain affection for this replica. If one remains only at the airsoft, this replica is another CO2 GBB more. But regarding the weapon, the true, it is a object full of history. I’ll let you find out if the heart tells you, including on Wikipedia and other specialized sites. So ! The M1911 A1 full metal. It works using CO2 sparclettes 12g inserted into the charger. Mobile slide obviously, it’s a GBB. We find on that side some beautiful Colt markings made with laser and … Horror ! On the other side, the “6mm” that is small enough, we have not the “KWC” but we have a huge “Made in Taiwan”. A sticker would have sufficed ; a sticker that you could take off. But here, it is also laser etched. That, personally, I find it ugly. It’s a shame to have done that on this replica. Note though that this number is unique. At the back of the grip, an hoop for a lanyard and no Picatinny rail to the front. That did not exist at the time. It is the same for safety. Security is there, but it was not designed to be ambidextrous. The front and rear sights… old period. This is not Novak style. Far from there ! They are very simple and much less practical than what we can do today. It has a shortened trigger without hole and a simplified hammer. On the slide, forward rear cocking serrations, to facilitate armament. They are quite close together and perpendicular to the slide. Very different from what we have today. Finally the grips, in plastic. Not necessarily the material used at the time but the fact is they are effective. We did the replica good in hand. In terms of features, it announces a weight of 976 grams, a power of 358 fps at 0.20 grams and a range of about 50 meters. The replica is equipped with an adjustable Baxs system… …Who is here. You can see the setup wheel. Like other versions of 1911 at KWC, we have two recovery springs, one on the guide rod and the other on the outer barrel. Finally, the charger meanwhile is a flat heel model, CO2 kind offering sparclettes inserted from the side and a payload of 17 bbs. Provide a good BB loader because the spring is rather difficult to compress ! And the pin is not very pleasant to handle. It’s hurt the finger. Well, I think we went around. At the finish, as often with KWC, the replica is very clean. A small point of attention on the painting who seems fragile. See here, I have already lost some. The replica color is predominantly gray, of beautiful effect. It was well in hand and weighs his weight, like any full metal replica respectable. I now insert a sparklet. It is inserted here, holding the well. Gently is screwed up not hear leaks. Remember, the advantages of CO2 are… …a functional replica even in cold weather. It can take between 4 and 5 bbs loading with a single charger CO2 cartridge. Finally, it has a “kick” really powerful and a very friendly operating noise ! I have glasses. Do not do this at home. This noise is insane. About drawbacks : the power, which is sometimes important… Note that different magazines 1911 from KWC seem all compatible. And I want to show you these two mags. It is clear that there is a color difference. This is a good point if you have multiple 1911 KWC at home. Now to chrony test. In the end, it’s was an “old school” replica which look great. An indispensable model for those doing reenact US WWII or even Vietnam. But you can buy it even if you do not do that. It is not forbidden. Beautiful M1911 A1 despite this marking problem… that may hinder only me. Beefy internal, powerful kick, very nice sound. It’s really a “pleasure” replica. In short, a nice toy sold by Cybergun !
