National Safety Week.
Held on : 4th March. The National Safety Week is observed every year in India on 4th
March. It is observed to highlight the importance of Safety in all spheres of life so as to
prevent mishaps and accidents resulting out of neglect or lack of awareness. Why do we celebrate Safety Week? National Safety Day/Week Celebration. It
is celebrated by uniting together the governmental and nongovernmental organizations including
the health organizations and industrial members. … In order to organize this campaign, a
national level and safe governmental support is given to the members. How do we celebrate Safety Week? Achieve the greatest participation of the
employees. Tap local talents in your factory for the
celebration. Stress on the OSH needs of your unit.
Identify and highlight local OSH (Occupational Health and Safety) issues.
Distribute OSH promotional material amongst the employees.
