I’m in my second semester right now, and have been part of the team since the first one. And that’s why I am here now. Other universities don’t have anything like that. I think the experiences I am gaining here are so unique that I couldn’t find the same on other courses or other seminars anywhere else. While others are still writing term papers about cultural organization, it’s possible to simply experience it here through this festival. It is student-organised and just super cool! Because it’s very hands-on, that’s what one needs for later. It’s got a lot to do with organisation, and with artistic freedom. What can you really fit into a pre-set framework? Sure, it’s definitely a student festival. And it shows. And it’s got to look like one! It’s about being together and how the people feel about it. And the project becomes what it is because, together, we make it what it should be. It is obvious that all involved are super perfectionists. Plenty of love just went into producing Lunatic. Lunatic conveys what many students experience here, at this university. It’s about sustainability, equality, coexistence. And it’s about achieving goals that match your own ideals. And getting involved as a community.
