Hilsa Pulao / Ilish Polao 250g gobindovog rice (before 1 hour cooking, washed & drained) 3 ring pieces of Hilsa fish (lightly fried with salt & turmeric powder) ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp turmeric powder 4 sleeted green chilies ¼ tsp black cumin seeds 2 tbsp coriander leaves Here I used 2 tbsp white oil for frying the fish pieces. Now heat the remaining oil again. Add green chilies, black cumin seeds for tempering Add rice Sauté on medium flame If rice are transparent, and bubbles formed on rice; add salt & turmeric powder. Now add Lukewarm water (500 ml water for 250g rice , that means 2* rice) Add fried fish pieces Cover it on less medium flame when rice is well cooked & extra water is dried; sprinkle little chopped coriander leaves.
