The Ultimate Queen Celebration
Ten pocit, když víš, že v hospodě bude pivo stát klidně i 25 korun zatímco točená limonáda nebo, nedej bože, voda budou mnohem dražší ? Hledám vždy restaurace/hospody, kde tomu tak není…
Wtf is that bullshit!! The beer is half full!!!
Note to self. Don't go to a country where you have to tip.
I really hope Czech Republic hasn't become a "you must tip" nation it wasn't ten years ago and If you notice the "tipping is not included" notice is ALWAYS written in English and aimed at Americans throughout Europe because of your tipping culture.
Lol dude its a pub for fuck sake there are no rules
Can't get anymore czech. Gulasch is hungarian, Lager beer was introduced by bavarian brewers in the 19th century.
But you're right: it can't get anymore czech since there is not such a thing as czech culture.
Bohemia and moravia were a part of Germany for more than 1000 years.Prag (Praha) used to play football in the bundesliga (first German football division) it even was the Capitol city of Germany at one point in history."Czechs" most famous writer Franz Kafka wrote all of his books in German language (the language everyone used in Prag at that time). By now you will find more German surnames in Prags Phone book than in Berlin
it is just like serbian???☺
Drinking atleast1.5 liter bear to every meal
But it's not goulash. Goulash is a soup
Sry but 1:05 that’s what she said
£1.65 for a beer, now that’s cheap.
to s tim rovnou si sednout je pěkná píčovina. dělám v restauraci a když si někdo sedne bez toho abych ho usadil, řeknu si že je ignorant.
Now i want to live in Prague and eat that with beer ??
You are a good man.Thank you!
Že malé pivo? A dve malé?Pro tip#8 Vždy veľké!
What surprises me is Americans tip 15%
3:16 little beer3:18 more beer. MAGIC
Don’t have Goulash I’m Hungarian I don’t recommend it ?
This goulash looks better than the Hungarian
I thought he was eating Gulag
Hungarians: "I'm going to make my perfect gulas"Slavs: "what a great idea. Let me just botrrow it…"
Miluji vaše videa kluci
How to say " without onions and garlic " in Czech please ?
You’re vlog is very informative, I’m planning to backpacking to your Europe soon & I definitely visit Prague.
Me when he said Goulash is a traditional Czech meal:
Me when he gave Hungary credit:
Oh thank god
u need to show the racism in prague!!
So, I don't drink any alcohol at all and I'm coming to Prague really soon. Would it be offensive if I don't drink while I'm there?
Can you eat in Prague Vegetarian
Love watching u for a good laugh ? nice vdieo
Almost like polish
Small beer is actually more like a Prague tip (ppl from Prague can't usually stand more than 5 beers a night so they invented small beers). You can absolutely drink small beer in Prague but don't do it elsewhere because people will think you're from prague and other people (big beerers) don't like it.
Love you guys so much thx for good chanel like this
Never have I ever been to a pub where they seat you. Wtf like do they actually do that somewhere?? Strange
Check jokes and comments are BORING!Here’s one: “What’s a cancelled check?” Answer: an abortion in Prague!
Where are money scammers
Man, I love your channel. Your english is stunning and the stuff you do, I really respect you for that. And sometimes you're funny as hell too. 🙂 Got yourself a new sub.
I am Czech, why am I even watching this, haha… That's for amazing content ✌️
dont tip. is horrible, if forces the copany to pay waiters less money , i am not your boss i am not the person that pays for your wage
Thanks a lot for your helps about those scamming places people and else. It is so helpful and please make it wider to more cities and countries.
Como se llama ese restaurante?
when I was working near Nespeky we could get a soup, goulash, and a two of the best pilsners in the world for under 10 USD. They also had these dessert pancakes that were off the chain!
You are awesome guys!
The Lenin part got me dead lol
I will be visiting Prague for the first time in less than two weeks 🙂 can't wait.I just love little differences. In Croatia, we have goulash, but is looks completely different. I will never get the Americans who complain on the internet about waiters in Prague not "seating" them, giving those restaurants low ratings. I did grow up in a culture where such a thing is mostly unheard of, except in the most elite of restaurants. Me, I would be weirded out if a waiter offered to "seat" me, so I can understand that it might feel extremely weird. But taking offence because a foreign country does not follow your customs? Now, that itself is stupid and ironically-offensive.
I will never understand the tipping culture in some countries. Sure, you should definitively pay some extra if the service you received is extraordinary (I always do) but why do you try to make it sound mandatory? If you are extra satisfied with food, why not give tips directly to chefs (almost nobody does this and it's unfair)? Or hotel receptionists who were nice and helpful? Or store employees who helped you? They also have terrible wages (usually). If you don't, then why do you keep schooling people about tipping, especially if they weren't very pleased by waiters? Because of food or cleanliness? Not a single kruna will enter chef's or cleaner's pocket. As somebody who lives in a post-communist country and often tips, I am very surprised by younger Czechs who advocate tipping all the time. I do not know if American tourists are to blame, but it needs to stop before it gets rooted in your culture and before Czech hospitality business owners start thinking like American ones do. USA is the worst example of mandatory tipping culture: extremely underpaid waiters chasing you if you forget to tip and having it so engraved in culture that few question it or think about how they should start blaming restaurant owners who pay their workers bellow liveable wage. I've seen some argument how this ensures that the waiter will try their best ….yeah, by having an extremely underpaid guy metaphorically having to lick guest's feet and hoping that tips will be good. With liveable wage and non-mandatory tips that are encouraged if you are satisfied with the service, good waiters can make really nice money. But again, I argue that if you tip one, then you should tip everyone in the hospitality business.
EDIT: I was in Prague and it was amazing. Also, getting back to what I wrote before….waiters in some touristy restaurants offered to seat me and it was truly weird for me but I adjusted. I also always tipped because I knew it's a custom in Prague. However, one waiter really annoyed me when he pretty much demanded tips while not bothering to earn them in the slightest. This was the only restaurant where I listened for friend's advice instead of paying attention to online reviews. I was in the good mood and didn't want to spoil it so I did tip a small amount and decided to not go back there.
Bro you are a goodman but awkward too
Oh 2016.. I miss those prices.
no tipping, we arent in shit hole america
What is the name of this pub? Can someone help me quickly???
loved seeing you play "flip coaster" my dad taught me to do that when I was little but I have met very few people who know it here. he must have picked it up when he lived in Europe
That's actually really expensive for east Europe
this doesn’t look like a rollercoaster to me. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
If you are in prague dont miss the hajnovka in vinohradská 25, is is my favorite!!
Já teda, pokud platím kartou, nechávám vždycky dýško hotově. Dřív sem to řešil a číšníků se ptal a v naprosté většině případů se dýško z karty nerozpočítává mezi číšníky, ale nechává si ho majitel. A tomu jaksi dýško dávat nepotřebuju. Tak sem to pak přestal řešit a dávám ho bez ptaní vždycky hotově.
Czech goulash isn't the same as Hungarian. Czech is a meat stew, with bread and the Hungarian is a soup with meat and vegetables in it.
Proč malé pivo k obědu? 😀
1:18 i did 47 of these 😀
Svichkova and goulash look the same or? 🙂
01:45 What the…
Maly je neekonomicky ??Stejne u jednoho nezustane ?
Hey Guide ! It's my friend and I
why is it weird for you that gulash is traditional? I mean ever since Szigismund youve been under some control.
Not the hunger I had if in [email protected] @ red light district?
cool I only have to visit my mum if I want a typically Czech meal 😀
Love Praha. Probably the most beautiful city I have seen. Was last there 10 years ago to show my kids. Definitely will come back again. Then I wont be lost as tourist like 1st time, but will instead be more savvy because of your vlog. Thank you.
When you say that a hungarian meal is very czech…
I watch like 10 of your videos today plus the TedxTalk and now I need to test my new knowledge before I forget.
I never give tip. I am not a royal. Unfortunately.
Hope you will review the so-called Grand Cafes of Prague!
As a German who loves beer, i salute and bow before the Czech Republic, you guys realy make the best beer!
Look how much head you get in a beer. It is only a half a beer…Rip off
The only thing I got out of this is; eat goulash and drink beer…….oh and play bar games

Chyba mi v zozname u slovanské lípy 😀 za mna najlepsi podnik na zizkove
@1.24 that is the worst poured beer i have ever seen.
I don’t drink. And I don’t plan on ever visiting Prague…..but I can’t stop watching these videos.
I wish this whole world would abolish tipping completely. I have no problem with the money. It's the issue when traveling, how much to tip 5-10 or 15-20, 20+? Do I tip at all here? Who do I tip? Just restaurants? Taxi driver? Bellhop? Front desk? Dry cleaner? Food truck? On and on and on.
the first thing different from the world…..?? Gulas is actually Porkolt. Jeden gulas s ctyreho knedlicky, prosim. To bylo muj oblibeni jidlo. Maly piva nejsou dobry.
I never give tip and never will it’s like going to your doctor and giving them a tip ? What’s the point you already are paying for their salary pay them more for doing their own work which they r already getting paid for
Great video mate, pubs in Prague is so different to my country Australia. Here we have a few differences and I would like to state every pub is different so these generals don't apply everywhere.Waiters won't come to you in a pub, usually there will be a part of the bar set aside for meals. You queue there and they give you a number written on paper in a stand, you place that number on your table then when it is ready they will bring it. As for drinks you queue up across the rest of the bar, order it and wait there for it at the bar.No bills at the end of the meal, you pay for it when you order it or for drinks when you receive it.No tips are required anywhere in the country, if your meal comes to $20 then you pay $20. You can tip if you wish but no one does it and it's completely unnecessary, if you want to say it was amazing then just say it.Like you we have free seating but careful of reserve seating, almost all pubs allows you to ring up and reserve a table and they will write your name down on paper and put it on the table. Don't sit at a table if it's reserved or it could get awkward when the people arrive. We don't have small and large beers, we have middy or schooner. Schooners are 425ml and middy being 285ml, most people drink schooner here. Spirits are severed in it's own glass I think it's called a rocks glass, no idea how big they are but always set sizes.Common pub meals here are usually steak and chips or something like that, us Aussies love steak and most pubs will do a great steak.
If pubs where you are I would love to hear it, it's great finding out about other places.
To Lenin! LOL.
Ate that many times, very tasty, head on the beer was a bit much though. ?
isn't the most beer consumed by south koreans?
Please say gulyás and not gulash, gulash is in german….
what about absinthe and one of them donut filled ice cream thats abit more czech 😉
Great nice, unfriendly people in restaurants. Only nice people who also said thank you and byby and smile after tipping – the foreigners
Not for me, never going to that shithole..
it’s like cheznicha is the only place in the world that has pubs.
? ?? ?
