During fasts a specific kind of food known as Falahari Food is taken Today I’m going to make Falahari Chaat Its is very tasty as well as healthy Lets see the ingredients required for making this chaat For this we’ll need Medium sized boiled potatoes – 3, peeled and chopped Pineapple – 5 slices Cottage Cheese – 100 gm, chopped Apple – 1 Cashew Nuts – 20, roasted Pomengrate seeds – 1/2 cup Green Chutney – 2 tbsp Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp Chaat Masala – 1 tsp This is made with 1 tbsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp cumin seeds powder and 1/2 tbsp black salt Roased cumin seeds powder – 1/2 tsp Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) – 1/2 tsp, adjust to taste Oil or ghee – 2 tbsp Heat oil in a pan Oil is heated, now add boiled potatoes Potatoes should be little boiled Keep gas on low Once they are golden brown from one side, flip them and fry till golden brown I’m using olive oil here, you can use any oil or ghee Peel and chop apple into small pieces Flip the potatoes I have chopped the apple Chop the pineapple slices too You can also deep fry the potatoes They are nice golden brown and looking crispy, take them out onto a paper napkin I have also chopped pineapple Chop the cashew nuts Take a large bowl Add apple and pineapple Mix slightly Add fried potatoes You can add any fruit of your choice to this chaat. Add cashew nuts Add cottage cheese. You can also fry of roast it on griddle before adding. Add pomegranate seeds Add green chutney Sprinkle salt Add lemon juice Sprinkle chaat masala Add roasted cumin seeds powder Mix well and our falahari fruit chaat is ready. Falahari Chaat is ready It is very tasty and healthy. It is very much liked by kids. You can prepare it as a normal quick snack too.
