Today I’m making Rava Kesari This is a simple and easy dessert I bought 500g of semolina for 160/=for 1 cup of semolina you can use up to 2 cups of sugar but today I’m using 1 cup of which is enough for me. then you need 3 cups of water, measured from the same cup as semolina you can even use milk instead of water. I’m using ghee, but you may even use butter or a odorless oil but to get the original taste, it’s best to use ghee then I’m using orange food color rose essence ghee remove the raising when they puff up add a little more ghee Since I’m using a thick bottom pan, I switch off the heat from time to time. and kept the heat of the pan to low. And dry roast this for 10 mins the semolina mustn’t stick 3 cups of water wait for the water to boil 1 tbsp ghee 1 tsp odorless coconut oil pinch of salt add the semolina this way. keep stirring so there aren’t any lumps if there are any lumps break it apart. reduce the heat to low since this is a thick bottom pan, I switch it off when the heat is reducing a lot, I switched it back on. don’t add the sugar until the semolina is fully cooked now add 1 cup of sugar if you are making for a special occasion you can increase the sugar amount, so it derides with many people. once the sugar dissolves, add some ghee you can even add some oil ground cardamom some more ghee 1/4 tsp rose essence switch off the flame now check for taste since I used home made ghee, it tastes even better there is another video on making ghee at home, you can check that too. ghee is very healthy and is good for many mental disorders now over rava kesari is ready, you can serve it any way you like. when rava kesari is made correctly it’s soft and melting in the mouth like this. there are many more recipes is Ape Amma channel, you can click on this click above to watch it.
