To be able to apply for a scholarship, you are required to first apply for admissions. The application for admissions into University of Adelaide remains free until further information is passed. Both applications for admissions and scholarship  can be filled and submitted simultaneously. The graduate scholarship is 100% free for international and local students and it covers so many allowances. At the time of writing this article there are no restrictions based on locality. Below are the 7 simple steps to qualify for an Australian Graduate Scholarship, read carefully before you re-disseminate or apply.

Step 1: Choose an Institution

Your choice of institution will impact your experience as a research student.
The University of Adelaide is one of the most research-intensive universities in Australia. They have an outstanding record of basic research thorough to commercial outcomes, and continue to produce real results at home and overseas.
Step 2: Decide on a Program of Study
Overview of Programs

Programs include Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Professional Doctorate, and Master of Philosophy.
It is recommended that you read through the basic requirements and expectations of each program so you can choose the most appropriate program of study according to your academic standing, prior training and experience, personal circumstances and commitments.

Step 3: Check the Entry Requirements
The admission requirements for Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) are set out in the relevant set of academic program rules, as published in the University’s calendar. An overview of these entry requirements is provided in the Research Student Handbook.

Step 4: Identify an Area of Research and Supervisors
Your academic credentials will determine your eligibility for Higher Degree by Research, however the alignment of your interests with an area of research at the University and the work of potential supervisors, as well as their capacity to accept you as a student in that area will impact on the outcome of your application.

It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the research conducted within the Faculty, School and Discipline in which you intend to conduct your investigative work. This will help you identify research projects and supervisors in your chosen field.

Step 5: Submit an Application
Admission to a HDR program is open throughout the year, however, scholarship applications are only made available within the Domestic or International Scholarship Application Rounds.

Step 6: Accepting the Offer
Domestic Applicants

A hard copy of your offer letter will be posted to you.
International Applicants

A copy of your offer letter will be emailed to you.

Step 7: Finalize Your Enrollment
A hard copy of your enrollment form will be posted to you.
Please ensure that ALL the required information on the enrollment form is completed. Some sections will need to be completed and signed by you, other sections must be completed by your School or Discipline.
